Your adventure gear is essential for tackling the unknown, and selecting the right Pelican case—new or used—ensures it stays safe, organized, and ready for any journey. 1. Size and Compatibility

Match the case to your gear. For compact essentials like navigation tools or small camping gear, consider cases like the Pelican 1450. For larger setups with backpacks, recovery gear, or overlanding equipment, opt for models like the Pelican 1550, 1610, or 1620. Used cases, thoroughly inspected at The Case Place, accommodate your gear at up to 50% less than new, making durability affordable.

2. Protection Level

Pelican cases, new or used, offer crushproof, waterproof (IP67-rated), and dustproof protection to shield your equipment from impacts, water, and harsh off-road conditions like dust or mud. Our used cases are rigorously checked to ensure seals and latches maintain waterproof integrity, providing the same rugged reliability as new cases.

3. Portability

For adventurers on the move, portability is key. The Pelican Storm case, made from lightweight HPX resin, delivers rugged strength without added weight, making it ideal for overlanding and travel. Used Pelican Storm cases combine affordability and easy transport for explorers tackling rough terrain.

4. Organization

Customizable foam or divider systems keep maps, multi-tools, recovery gear, and electronics secure and accessible. Many used Pelican cases come with adjustable foam inserts for a tailored fit, while others offer empty interiors for custom padding. Lid organizers are perfect for small items like compasses, lighters, or charging cables.

Look for cases with pressure equalization valves for sensitive electronics or navigation devices, especially for high-altitude adventures. Lockable latches add security for valuable gear. Used cases at The Case Place are professionally inspected to ensure all features meet the demands of off-road travel.
